Panelists in the first session titled - SUSTAINABILITY TODAY: THEMES TO LOOK FOR IN 2023, were:

  • Sir Malachi Hallidway, CEO & Founder, Halliday Growth

  • David Gatward, Chief Engineering & Technical Services Officer, AD Ports Group

  • Tobias Maier, CFO, DHL

  • Kivanc Karayol, Market Director & Electromobility Champion, Volvo Group.

The journey to net zero is going to be hard and companies across the world need to work together seriously to address challenges linked to sustainability. It's time to walk the talk and actions have to be in place otherwise it is going to be too late, the experts opined.

"Assess, reduce, replace and even then we would be left with a little amount of carbon footprint. It is here we need think about carbon credits. Assessing and going straight to carbon credits won't deliver," concluded Karl W. Feilder - Founder - Neutral Fuels Holdings, as he wrapped up the first Session.

Mr Feilder, who is an Expert on Biofuels moderated the maiden session of the SME Future of Sustainability: The Road to COP28 conference.
