2x World Boxing Champion & Dubai News Media Personality Confirmed for Sparkling SME Excellence Awards

Sustainability Middle East (SME) has confirmed that 2x World Champion boxing legend Amir Khan and Dubai Television Presenter have been announced as special guest and host, respectively, for the inaugural SME Awards in 2023.

Both Jensen and Khan have long-established ties with CBM Media, the mother company of SME, as well as ties to Dubai as media personalities and figures.

Khan has a role in the region as the World Boxing Council (WBC) Middle East President, and he believes that after seeing the development of professional sport in Saudi Arabia, there’s a huge opportunity for Dubai to host all manner of global events.

Jensen is a presenter for television channel Dubai One and has vast experience as an event presenter and host.

The duo will form a key part of proceedings as SME salutes the very best of sustainable operations in the region.

The Awards, which are due to be held on March 9, 2023, in Dubai, promise to revolutionise the sustainability sector in the region, with a host of top names, thinkers, and business entities up for elite awards marking pioneering work in sustainability.
