"By honoring outstanding individuals, practices, and initiatives on the front of sustainability, we aim to inspire greater achievement and creativity among individuals and institutions.

"These awards not only recognize and celebrate significant contributions in these vital areas but also underscore our unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and innovation across various sectors of the economy and business, laying the groundwork for a sustainable future."

El Baz Award for Excellence in Organizational Sustainability

El Baz Award for Excellence in Organizational Sustainability, first launched in 2011, aims to champion sustainable practices and drive organizational excellence globally.

The award, named in honor of Dr. Farouk El-Baz, pays tribute to his relentless efforts and contributions in the field of research and innovation, including his notable involvement in the Apollo Program, where he supervised missions to the Moon and was involved in the systems analysis for National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA).

The award will be presented to organizations that embed corporate social responsibility (CSR) at all levels, promoting a culture of sustained competitiveness and value creation.

The assessment focuses on two critical aspects: institutional empowerment, which involves creating an enabling ecosystem that supports sustained organizational excellence, and performance, which examines economic metrics, internal capacity, external stakeholder engagement, competitiveness, and CSR impact.

Since its inception in 2006, Feigenbaum Leadership Excellence Award has honored exemplary leaders in the Arab World who have significantly driven their organizations to fulfil its role in business and society and instilled a quality-centric culture as well as acted as a role model for all.

The Award has been established in honor of Dr. Armand Val Feigenbaum, President and CEO of General Systems Company, whose experience in the field of leadership and management has led to the design, installation and implementation of proprietary management operating systems that have vastly improved results across major manufacturing and services companies throughout the world.

The award acknowledges men and women in leadership roles, as well as emerging youth leaders, for their exceptional leadership and commitment to excellence within three categories: Accomplished Leaders, Women Leaders, and Rising Stars.

e-Learning Excellence Awards

HBMSU launched e-Learning Excellence Awards in 2005 to recognize outstanding achievements in the field of e-learning by both organizations and individuals in the Arab World.

The awards are divided into three categories: Best Research Paper for Smart Learning Implementation, Best Designed Smart Learning Course Award, and Outstanding Individual Achievement in Smart Learning Award.

These awards celebrate innovations and excellence in e-learning, showcasing best practices and projects that have made significant contributions to the e-learning industry in the region.

They also honor research that advances smart learning, courses that exhibit creativity and innovation in design, and individuals who have demonstrated leadership and made substantial contributions to the field of e-learning.

The three awards have garnered worldwide recognition, positioning them at the forefront of awards and acclaims celebrating distinguished leadership in their respective fields worldwide.

All the awards will be assessed by an esteemed international jury, and applications will be accepted until the end of September 2024.
