With the aim of establishing a comprehensive national strategy and a unified operational plan towards achieving net-zero emissions, Oman has opened an 18-day long event lining up a series of activities focused on safeguarding the environment while pursuing growth.

Carbon Management Lab (CML), kicked off on Monday, seeks to boost Oman’s strategic approach to achieving net-zero emissions.

The initiative is in line with the development goals within Oman Vision 2040.

The CML, to run till October 13, is being organised by Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, under the supervision of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, in cooperation with the Environment Authority and the Civil Aviation Authority.
