DB Schenker and adidas make logistics fashion-forward with a limited-edition Supernova 2 sneaker. This year, DB Schenker celebrates its 150th jubilee, and thus this special sneaker was born in unique branded colors.

Already ahead of the anniversary year, a sneaker model from the adidas Supernova collection was selected and created with the adidas design team. Tens of thousands of boxes are now being shipped all over the world.

"The DB Schenker adidas sneaker are not only a big thank you to all 76.100 DB Schenker employees, but they are also a motivation. A motivation to be active," the company stated.

The goal is to collect 150 million kilometers via different activities. Running, cycling, swimming, or hiking – every completed kilometer is converted into a donation for selected charitable NGOs.

The leading logistics provider has partnered successfully with  beneficiaries supporting land and ocean conservation and, through the engagement of employees globally, donated a sum of more than half a million Euros to date.

Jochen Thewes, CEO DB Schenker said: “We are currently running the company’s greatest fitness exercise ever. I am very proud of our team all around the world.

"We have already circled the globe more than 1750 times since January. Now, with our signature running shoe, each DB Schenker colleague will receive yet another incentive to make every move count.”

DB Schenkers unique sneakers

The adidas Supernova 2 is designed exclusively in DB Schenker’s’ unique brand colors, and the footprint is even greener: more than 50% of the upper material is made from recycled materials.

Further personalized additions include the DB Schenker logo on the tongue and the “150 years Elevating Lives” logo inside the shoes.
